In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to update your ad copy using “Ampd Ad Copy”.
This method is recommended as it helps showcase your review count, strategically uses keywords in your headlines, and has proven to on average increase impressions and lower CPCs.
Step 1: Access Ad Editing Options
- Click on "Details" by the campaign name to edit your ad.
Step 2: Enter Ad Copy Editing
- Click on the "Ad Copy" pencil to modify your ad text.
Step 3: Save Existing Text
- Copy your current Ad Descriptions (the bottom part of the ad with the 90 character limit) 1 & 2 to a document for later use.
Step 4: Use Ampd Ad Copy
- Select "Use Ampd Ad Copy" to automatically fill in your headlines and pin them.
Step 5: Apply Changes
- Click "Update" to save the modifications.
Step 6: Refresh Browser
Step 7: Access Ad Editing Again
- Repeat Step #1 and #2 to enter the ad copy editing screen.
Step 8: Remove Generic Descriptions
- Delete the existing Descriptions #1 & #2.
Step 9: Paste Previous Descriptions
- Paste the descriptions you saved earlier into Descriptions #1 & #2 making sure they provide good descriptions of your product. Remember, we want to use the ad descriptions to qualify the customer before the click, so avoid overselling the product as that can lead to more clicks, but bad quality traffic.
Step 10: Save Changes
- Click "Update" to finalize the updates.
Your ad is now updated with new headlines pinned and previous descriptions are added back in.
By following these steps, you have successfully updated your ad copy using Ampd Ad Copy, optimizing it to showcase reviews and include popular keywords in your headlines.
