Adding Image Extensions in Google Ads

*Before making changes to your Ampd campaigns directly inside of Google Ads, please consult this help center article on what optimizations we recommend and what we recommend you avoid*

Image extensions are a great way to visually draw customers to your product listing.

An Image Extension is a feature in Google Ads that is often available to advertisers that have a Google Ads account that is active and in good standing for 90 days.

*If you do not see image extensions in your account and believe that you qualify, you can reach out to Google Ads customer support!

1: Pull up your Google Ads account and select the campaign you would like to add image extensions. Click on Ads to drill down into the Ampd Campaign.

2. Click on the pencil icon by the active Google Ad to modify the Ampd Google Ad. All of our Google Ad Campaigns have one campaign, one ad group, and one ad. To expand to edit the campaign, you will need to drill down to the campaign by going to Campaigns → Google Ad.

3. Select add images

4. Upload an Image from your A+ content.

Please ensure that there are not any words in the images or Google will not approve the images.

Then  click save. You have now successfully uploaded the Google Ad campaign to have an image extension.
